Field Installation Engineer

Why we need this role

This position will support the delivery of high-quality network services by performing installation, configuration, testing, and service activation of customer premises equipment (CPE), including routers, switches, and ONUs, at both customer and company sites. Through on-site activities, collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth circuit implementation and successful service launch.
 

顧客拠点および当社拠点にて、回線終端装置（CPE／Router／Switch／ONU等）の設置・設定・試験・開通作業を実施し、高品質なネットワークサービス提供を支援する。現地作業を通じて、顧客および社内関連部門と連携し、円滑な回線導入およびサービス開始に貢献する。

What you will do

  • Take ownership of installing customer premises equipment (CPE) at client sites, ensuring service quality and successful circuit activation
  • Troubleshoot circuit and equipment issues on-site and contribute to timely, effective resolution
  • Work collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams (e.g., NOC, vendors) to achieve shared goals
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure proper documentation practices
  • Follow all safety standards and compliance requirements to support a safe and respectful work environment
  • Manage assigned tasks in line with project timelines and carry out on-site work efficiently

  • 回線および機器に関する現地トラブル対応および迅速な問題解決の実施
  • 顧客および社内関係者（NOC、ベンダー等）との円滑な連携
  • 正確な作業記録およびドキュメント管理
  • 安全基準およびコンプライアンス遵守の徹底
  • 担当案件におけるスケジュールの遵守および効率的な現地作業の遂行

What we're looking for

  • Business level in Japanese (Writing and speaking)
  • Basic knowledge of network enegineering (equivalent to CCNA level)
  • Experience as a Field Engineer or in telecommunications installation, including CPE installation and cabling work
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours, including weekends and nights, as required
  • Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction
  • Valid driver’s license at the time of hire and ability to drive for work purposes
  • Cable identification experience (Ability to accurately distinguish cable colors as required for operational tasks)

  • フィールドエンジニアまたは通信工事の経験 (終端装置設置、ケーブル敷設の経験)
  • 出張・休日・夜間作業への対応力
  • 顧客対応コミュニケーション能力 
  • 採用時に普通自動車免許資格を有し、運転経験を有する者(但し、業務上運転が可能な方)
  • 業務上必要な色識別（配線識別等）が可能であること
