Lead Analyst, Security Compliance and Assurance

Why we need this role
We are looking for a Security Compliance & Assurance Analyst to support the delivery of Colt's Security Compliance and Control Assurance programmes.
This role provides operational support across regulatory compliance, control assurance, audit management, customer assurance, and governance activities. The position helps ensure compliance assessments, control reviews, evidence management, reporting, and remediation tracking are delivered consistently and efficiently across the organization.
The role works closely with Compliance Specialists, Control Assurance Specialists, Security teams, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders to support Colt's regulatory, operational resilience, and customer trust objectives
What you will do
Key Responsibilities are as below:-
- Compliance Assessment Support
-Support delivery of compliance assessments against regulatory, contractual and internal requirements
-Maintain compliance assessment records, action logs and evidence repositories
-Track remediation activities arising from assessments and audits
-Support regulatory readiness activities and compliance reviews
-Produce compliance and assurance metrics, dashboards, and reports - Control Assurance Activities
-Support control testing and assurance activities
-Coordinate evidence collection from control owners
-Review documentation for completeness and quality
-Maintain records of assurance findings and action plans
-Track compliance, assurance and audit KPIs - Audit & Assurance Support
-Coordinate evidence requests for internal and external audits
-Prepare audit-support documentation and evidence repository
-Monitor progress of audit findings - Stakeholder Engagement
-Work with control owners and subject matter experts across Colt
-Support evidence gathering and assessment activities
-Provide guidance on documentation and evidence requirements
-Collaborate with teams across Security, Technology, Risk, Legal, Privacy, and Internal Audit - Continuous Improvement
-Identify opportunities to improve compliance and assurance processes.
-Support automation and simplification initiatives.
-Contribute to the development of templates, standards, and assessment methodologies.
-Support implementation of compliance and risk management tooling.
What we're looking for
Skills & Eperience we are looking for:-
Must haves
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Risk Management, Audit, Business, Technology, or related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in compliance, governance, audit, risk management, control assurance, or information security.
- Experience working with control frameworks, audits, assessments, or policy compliance activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Might haves
Knowledge of one or more of the following:
- DORA
- NIS2
- ISO 27001
- Telecommunications Security requirements
- Operational Resilience frameworks
Experience supporting:
- Internal audits
- External audits
- Control testing
- Compliance assessments
- Evidence management programmes
