Why we need this role 

As a Sales Operations Business partner, you will be an able communicator with a strategic mindset. You will provide support to our sales leadership, helping ensure the efficiency and effective operation of our Sales organisation. You will act as a liaison between the Sales channel and the Commercial Chief of Staff function helping channel leaders make key decisions, prioritize tasks and moreover align with Colt Sales strategy and initiatives. To be successful, you will rely on your inquisitive, analytical nature to support and lead critical conversations and projects in-channel, based on data driven insights. You will need to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisation including the VP, Business Ops Director, Regional Sales Directors, Finance, Marketing, HR Business Partner and Sales Enablement colleagues. Additionally, you will collaborate on and contribute to the Chief of Staff Director but will be aligned virtually to support the Enterprise Sales channel.

 

What you will do

  • Supervises data-driven intelligence and analytics to support critical business decision-making
  • Bringing to life observations and actionable analytics for Sales Leadership
  • Oversees sales targeting process and policy ensuring the equitable assignment of Sales Force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources
  • Monitors trends in Sales KPI’s, working with Sales leadership to improve adverse trends and accelerate positive dynamics
  • Supports discipline around Sales governance and Colt’s Go to Market & Rules of Engagement
  • Works closely with Sales Leadership to produce Sales forecasts
  • Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of Sales incentive and compensation programs
  • Coordination of Sales campaigns, buzz days and incentives (when needed)
  • Coordination of planning activities with channels and key stakeholders outside of Sales & Marketing managing Sales related initiatives
  • Working with Finance and HR, provides assistance with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to arbitrate or clarify the application of Sales compensation program policies and procedures
  • Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel across Sales, Finance, Marketing and Sales Enablement

  • Sales Targeting accuracy and correlation with business performance
  • Accuracy and value of sales analytics and forecasting
  • Unit operations budget performance

 

What you will do

  • At least 3 years experience in Sales operations environment or specificexposure to a role requiring the smooth operation of sales operations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Well developed leadership ability with proven experience in building highperforming teams
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills and highly influential
  • Influential across a range of roles and levels
  • Fluency in English
