Why we need this role
You will act as the key link between Colt and its customers, building strong, trusted relationships and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the service lifecycle. You will support sales colleagues with revenue‑generating activities, while serving as the primary point of contact for customers post‑sale. Working closely with internal teams, you will proactively manage queries, resolve issues, and deliver effective solutions. This role places you at the heart of the business and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on collaboration, builds lasting relationships, and takes pride in making things happen.
What you will do
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding and an effortless in‑life experience.
- Partner closely with Sales to support revenue‑generating activities, including transactional sales, renewals and account projects.
- Build strong customer relationships, developing a clear understanding of customer needs and acting as the link between customers, Sales and internal teams.
- Coordinate pricing, quoting, ordering and contract activities to ensure speed, accuracy and right‑first‑time delivery.
- Work cross‑functionally to manage customer requests, resolve issues, and proactively escalate risks to customer satisfaction.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with customers on request progress, using customer‑friendly language.
- Lead and participate in customer meetings, focused on service management and continuous improvement.
- Educate customers on Colt’s tools and processes, promoting digital engagement and self‑service.
- Ensure invoicing queries are handled in line with dispute policy and support initiatives to measure and improve customer satisfaction.
What we're looking for
Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Proven experience in a customer‑facing and/or sales‑support role, ideally within a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.
- A solid understanding of networking technologies and products, or the ability and enthusiasm to quickly build technical knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination and stakeholder‑management skills, with a collaborative and solutions‑focused mindset.
- The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to deliver positive outcomes for customers.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and continuously raising the bar.
- Comfortable adapting to changing customer needs and evolving business priorities.
- Demonstrates Colt’s values through professionalism, ownership and integrity.
Might haves:
- Previous experience in the telecoms industry (2–3 years) is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
