Why we need this role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of enterprise customers and/or business partners (System Integrators), while also identifying new growth opportunities within your assigned territory. This position requires someone who can take ownership of existing accounts, maintain trusted customer relationships, and ensure business continuity, while gradually expanding and developing the territory.

What you will do

  • Manage and further develop an existing portfolio of enterprise customers and/or business partners
  • Drive new bookings and revenue in line with personal and company sales targets
  • Own the full sales cycle, including:
    • Opportunity identification
    • Solution design and proposal creation
    • Pricing, negotiation, and contract closing
    • Post-sales customer engagement
  • Work closely with Solution Engineers to design and propose solutions that address customers’ business and technical requirements
  • Propose and sell Colt’s services, including:
    • WAN / MAN
    • Cloud Connectivity
    • Internet Access
    • Managed Services, ISP, and Professional Services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer executives and key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute account and territory plans based on business priorities
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management in line with internal processes
  • Collaborate with global teams, solution partners, and offshore resources as required

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B IT or technology-related sales
  • Business level in Japanese and English
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing existing customer relationships and complex sales cycles
  • Practical understanding of the SI business model and how system integrators work with end users(direct SI experience is not mandatory, but real-world exposure is expected)
  • Ability to operate independently and proactively in an environment with limited hand-holding
  • Experience selling network, cloud, data center, or telecommunications services
  • Experience working with system integrators or channel partners
  • Experience selling to enterprise customers (financial service experience is a plus)
