Develop and support software for financial data related systems which requires very low latency and high availability.

Job Summary

Colt Capital Markets specialize in low latency exchange connectivity covering the three main financial regions, Asia, Europe and North America. Connecting Market Makers, Investment Banks, Hedge Funds Proprietary Trading and FX trading venues globally. By leveraging our low latency networks we enable resilient and secure trading.

The successful candidate will be based in the Hong Kong office covering the Asia, Europe and North American markets, Colt has offices located in the following Asian countries: Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and implement normalised market data solutions with a focus on low latency delivery.
Create highly resilient, redundant solutions to support mission critical capital markets applications
Work directly with Capital Markets clients to create network solutions.
Understand multicast market data routing

Skills

Experience in using Linux
Windows server experience is an advantage
Knowledge in financial data
Programming Languages
- C++ with STL, Boost library
- Java
- Scripting Perl, python etc…
Business English Level, and fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
Good logical mindset in data processing and problem solving

Education

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, product development, computer sciences or a relevant field
