Why we need this role:
The Sales Manager Enterprise Growth Markets will lead a team of Account Executive professionals based across France, Belgium, and Netherlands. This role is based in France, but has International scope, and joins a newly-formed management team across Europe.
- Responsible for achieving the assigned Sales and growth target through a combination of GTM Sales strategy, deal Win Strategy and Close Plan execution, people leadership and motivation; and sales performance for the segment and team under scope.
- Drive sales excellence by prioritising coaching and the development of people, collaborating in Country, at a Regional and Global / Segment level through an international collaboration attitude, teaming with cross multiple sales support functions, building operational standards (CRM, ADP’s, Whitespace, etc), setting & executing Customer and sales resource alignment and maintaining excellent standards of sales governance and sales KPIs management (e.g. productivity, pipeline coverage, win rate, etc.)
- The Sales Manager is responsible for the business performance of the Growth Markets segment and country/regional execution of Colt’s Go to Market, delivering market leading growth from new business and acquisition, whilst developing existing accounts.
- Proactively identify new Sources of Growth and early in the selling cycle, with a structured engagement model with Customer Success who will enable a firm and fertile base to cross-sell to and through collaboration improve Colt's relevance and increase pipeline
- A positive force with ability to lead the team through a period of change from 2024 into 2025, encourage everyone’s contribution to the change programme, and create a high-performance team culture.
What you will do:
- Driving sales performance through a focused, collaborative and empathetic leadership style; leading by example, inspiring & connecting people, communicating effectively, being accountable, recognising success & motivating, enabling teaming and encouraging all to engage high and wide with our customers
- Prioritise the success and development of every AE through coaching and enabling AEs to be as effective and productive as possible, and encourage them to hold other functions accountable
- Driving a high-performance culture by executing effective performance management, enabling empowerment, developing a customer-centric strategy, increasing communication and enhancing collaboration.
- Recruiting, training, motivating and retaining an effective and engaged employee salesforce, with heavy engagement in supporting Early potential, helping shape Win Strategy and supporting Close Plan creation and execution
- Accountable for delivering team consolidated Bookings & Productivity, and driving YoY Revenue Growth as a result
- Developing and coaching people based on structured framework and techniques to increase productivity
- Ensuring high standards of operation and compliance with Colts’ sales governance and training / continual development requirements
- Ensuring the highest standard in sales disciplines is adopted across the Region, including forecast accuracy, pipeline management, C4C/ Salesforce cleaning, etc.
What we're looking for:
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of related customer-facing client services experience, able to demonstrate successful leadership of direct or virtual teams.
- Experience in a technology customer-facing environment supporting customer outcomes with complex solutions.
- Ability to identify common needs and issues across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field experience.
- Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building internally and with customers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive outlook, strong leadership, and growth mindset.
- Ability to operate through uncertainty and change.
