Sustainability Analyst

We are looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our global Energy & Sustainability Team, London United Kingdom.

As Colt DCS’ Sustainability Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving our ESG agenda. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the ESG strategy, collaborate with international teams and influence meaningful change across the Data Centre business.  

Job Description

Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:

•    Net zero roadmap: Support with the delivery of the net zero roadmap by identifying levers and initiatives across the business to meet the short- and long-term SBTi targets.


•    ESG data management and analytics: collect, measure and analyse qualitative and non-qualitative data to track progress against ESG targets. Support with external audit process of non-financial KPIs.


•    ESG reporting: prepare and submit qualitative and quantitative data to meet regulatory requirements (e.g. EED, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, TCFD), industry benchmarks (e.g. CDP Climate, EcoVadis, ISO14001, ISO50001), customer questionnaires and Colt DCS’ sustainability report, and ensure consistency throughout all ESG disclosures.


•    Active stakeholder involvement: engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns and foster collaborative relationships in support of our ESG goals and objectives. Prepare content on ESG performance for senior management review and approval and communicate progress.

Qualifications

•    Previous real estate experience preferred, ideally in data centres 


•    Data management and analytics experience 


•    Understanding and practical experience with regulatory requirements compliance


•    Knowledge of benchmark platforms, including CDP, EcoVadis and SBTi 


•    Experience and knowledge of GHG accounting and reporting principles, mechanisms and methodologies 


•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex compliance matters to diverse audiences both internally and externally 


•    Ability to manage/ deliver multiple projects/ tasks in parallel with different requirements and timelines
