Group Treasury Analyst

What you will do
As a Group Treasury Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the company’s treasury operations. You will be responsible for cash management, liquidity forecasting, risk assessment, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the overall financial health of the organization and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and banking institutions ensuring a strong working relationship, addressing any inquiries or collating documentation as required
- Oversee Bank account management (account opening, closing, connectivity set up, maintenance of the bank account database, etc)
- Payment initiation, reviews and approvals including counterparty set up (in e-banking platform). Manage user access in e-banking platforms (user set up, modifications, internal audit reports, necessary adjustments, etc) including the periodic review and updates of bank mandates
- Manage KYC, static data management and other banking administration tasks
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on best practices for preparing documentation and information required by banks
- Assistance with Bank guarantees (new guarantees, renewals, fee analysis, etc) liaising between the business and the banks
- Support cash positioning and manage intercompany funding arrangements
- Collaborate with finance teams to support working capital management and optimize cash utilization
- Drive continuous process improvements and assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks
- Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes impacting treasury operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CTP) is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related field, preferably within hands-on experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with treasury management systems or ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
