Job Summary

As the OFCI Procurement Manager within Delivery Commercial & Procurement, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement processes for all major build projects on a global scale, with a strong focus on commercial, contractual, and relationship management. Reporting to the Head of Commercial-Major Builds, you will lead procurement efforts to ensure optimal outcomes. From sourcing and RFP processes to negotiation and vendor management, you will manage both tactical and strategic aspects, aiming for cost efficiency, quick market entry, and streamlined operations. 

Job Description

Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Successfully managing OFCI procurement elements for major builds in Paris, achieving targets for operating and capital cost reduction.
- Leading commercial negotiations with suppliers to optimize operating costs and benefits for Colt DCS, including soft services such as consulting.
- Tracking and reporting cost reduction savings in collaboration with the Cost Management team, providing detailed management information for project progress meetings.
- Providing expert procurement advice and support, managing strategic sourcing for projects, and identifying innovative procurement solutions.
- Conducting strategic procurement reviews and managing capital investment requirements and major build opportunities.
- Coordinating with Legal and Commercial teams for the negotiation of commercial construction contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Managing procurement governance and best practice policies, overseeing PR and PO process management, and acting as a subject matter expert on procurement issues.
- Creating a win-win environment with Suppliers and Key Stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

- A strong Procurement Manager with a combination of outstanding executional skills and strategic insight.
- Holds a CIPS or degree-level qualification (Business School) in Procurement, Commercial, Construction, or Finance.
- Fluent in both French and English, with German being advantageous.
- Proven negotiation skills, both internal and external.
- Experienced with E-Sourcing tools, preferably SAP or Ariba.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, comfortable engaging with C-level key stakeholders across different geographies.
- Culturally aware and adept at working in diverse environments.
- Able to deal effectively with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to maximize positive impact on Colt DCS’s business.
- A self-starter who sets clear goals and exceeds expectations.
- Defines clear behavioral expectations for self and virtual team members.
- Flexibility to travel at short notice.
