Job Summary

The Pricing Analyst will work closely with members of the Sales, Sales Engineers, Product and Finance departments utilizing various tools in order to provide deal desk/quoting functions for the company’s products. This position will play a critical role in contributing to the company’s performance by providing deal support.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive, Provide commercial support for Colt products including but not limited to Optical, Ethernet, IPVPN, IP Access, and Managed Services.
  • Act as trusted adviser to Sales on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to support the sales effort.
  • Work with Sales Team, Solution Architects, Product Managers, Network, Finance, Vendors to come up with lowest cost solutions that best fit customer requirements.
  • Utilize various tools such as Excel and other internal systems to structure the deals.
  • Investigate and recommend enhancements to existing pricing programs.
  • Lead and/or participate in strategic pricing discussions and projects.
  • Track and analyze market/customer trends and competitive pricing moves in order to recommend appropriate course of actions.
  • Lead and/or participate in specific pricing initiatives from investigation to implementation.

 

Role Requirements

Skills & Experiences

  • Business level Japanese – verbal and written
  • Experience in Deal Pricing or related activities
  • Experience in international environment
  • Proven experience in commercial finance and/or negotiations – commercially astute.
  • Strong relationship building skills to quickly establish credibility and rapport with sales and key stakeholders
  • Strong Excel modelling skills
