Why We Need This Role :

To help us continue delivering a best-in-class collections service, we're looking for a Senior Collection Specialist to join our Southern Region team. As our customer portfolio grows, we need a driven and experienced collections professional to manage complex accounts, streamline processes, and support cross-functional teams across multiple regions.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Collection Specialist, you'll be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable collections for a defined portfolio of customers across the Southern Region. This includes:

  • Managing end-to-end cash collection and account reconciliation for key customer accounts

  • Handling complex customer interactions and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding payments

  • Liaising with centralized teams in Barcelona and India (Cash Apps, Disputes) to drive efficiencies

  • Ensuring unallocated cash and credits are resolved swiftly and accurately

  • Monitoring and reporting on collections KPIs, attending monthly reviews, and contributing to business performance reporting

  • Complying with SLAs and process guidelines while identifying and suggesting improvements

  • Supporting your peers and covering their responsibilities when needed

What We're Looking For :

We’re seeking someone with solid experience in credit and collections, who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You’ll need to demonstrate:

  • A strong background in cash collection (minimum 2 years’ experience in Credit & Collections)

  • Experience with complex customer account reconciliation and dispute resolution

  • Familiarity with automated collection software and systems (e.g., SAP)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Financial and business acumen, along with a results-driven approach

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English (both written and spoken)

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • A graduate qualification is preferred but equivalent experience is also welcome
