Reports to: Group Treasury Manager

Job Location: Barcelona, Spain

Working Pattern: Hybrid set up

This is a fixed term contract until 31st December 2025

What you'll do

Treasury team’s scope:

  • Manages liquidity at Group’s level (cash needs vs cash excess in several currencies) and assesses funding needs (RCF from shareholder, overdraft line from bank, FX trades,...) via forecasts
  • Manages bank relationships: bank account management, discussion on various banking tools including Cash Pooling, guarantees,…
  • Supports payments and user accesses on banking platforms
  • Supports integration of Accounts Payable for Colt Neo
  • Works with Tax and Legal teams on capital structure management issues, intercompany loans, cash repatriations, dividends,…
  • Supports various teams with their requests and projects (e.g. Direct Debit implementation, accepting payments via Credit Cards,…)
  • Provides various internal reports (Dashboard, KPIs,…)
  • Several projects are currently in discussion or ongoing: FX hedging, Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation

 

Analyst’s scope:

Currently the Treasury team needs assistance with:

  • Payment initiation, payment reviews and approvals
  • FX trade initiation, confirmations and settlements
  • Preparation of internal documentation (RCF, IC loans, …) to record cash flows
  • Bank account management (bank account opening, closing, connectivity set up, maintenance of the bank account database, KYC processes,…)
  • Preparation of various reports (Dashboard, sanction reports from BNP, FBAR…)
  • User access management in e-banking platforms (user set up, modifications, internal audit reports and necessary adjustements, …)
  • Periodic review and adjustment of bank mandates

The scope and responsibilities of this role might be adjusted depending on the skills and strengths of the new joiner and the Treasury team’s needs.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance with a keen interest towards Treasury.
  • Ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders including AP, AR, IT, Tax, Legal, Auditors, etc.
  • Highly organised and able to work under tight deadlines/ manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal in English.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention.
  • Self-starter and proactive.

 

Would be considered as advantages:

  • IT and technical skills
  • Prior experience in Treasury and working with banks or financial institutions
  • Knowledge of SAP / S4HANA
