What you will do:

The PPD team are responsible for:
•    Process optimisation and re-engineering;
•    Business delivery and business acceptance of key strategic projects and programmes and training of the operational teams on new technologies;
•    The PPD team is organised into key business portfolios, each responsible for project delivery and process transformation;
•    The PMO sits within the PPD, guiding the portfolios through the delivery of projects and programmes in line with our project methodologies; the PMO are responsible for providing quality assurance, reports and tools and leading the portfolios through all planning activities.
The role will cover all aspects of Project Management Office including, Data Analysis , Stakeholder Management, Project Review cycle, Risk Management, Governance, Financial Management, Reporting and KPIs
•    Extract Data from different sources, using formulas, pivot tables and graphs to manipulate the data. 
•    Develop advanced Excel-based applications and tools. - Design and implement complex Excel formulas, macros, and VBA scripts. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs. - Optimize workbook performance and ensure data integrity.
•    Establish project documentation requirements and/or procedures and ensure stakeholders adherence to the Governance processes
•    Produce, track and report programme / project progress and performance, identify issues and recommend changes when necessary
•    Support adoption and delivery of corporate governance expectations and setup and management of SharePoint sites for individual projects
•    Carry out risk assessments and capture them in a risk register, involving stakeholders and referring to specialists where relevant (e.g. legal and regulatory requirements)
•    Assess potential impact of change requests and make recommendation(s)
•    Provides the day-to-day level support to program and project teams within the specified discipline
•    Provides guidance and advice within the specific discipline to the project or program team and peer level contacts within the customer organisation
•    Update relevant programme / project documents to reflect agreed changes and ensure traceability e.g. plan, schedules, product backlogs and the business case
•    Share information, good practice and expertise with others
•    Produce forecasts for project and PMO performance based on historical analysis for resource planning, budgeting, and timeline prediction
•    Recognise and rectify data exceptions through working with project teams or colleagues in the PMO
•    Lead and support regular stakeholder meetings, including resource meetings, operational updates and team meetings / produce and circulate minutes capturing records of decisions, update action logs as required and manage relationships and expectations with key stakeholders
•    Collaborate with team mates to manage teams shared email inbox, share knowledge & best practice, cover absence and ensure delivery of consistent quality service to customers

What we’re looking for:

Skills & Experience                      
Must haves:
•    Excellent knowledge Excel Macro’s, VBA a must.
•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word and PowerPoint, MS Project. 
•    Good knowledge of project management Life Cycle.
•    Good communicator, both written and verbal.
•    Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills with an ability to balance priorities.
•    Possesses Go-getter approach with a 'can-do' attitude. 
•    Strives for continuous improvement in the work area.
•    A team player with an approach of building and maintaining a collaborative work environment.
•    Proven ability to work in diverse and a multi-cultural working environment.
•    Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. 
•    Works on own initiative where necessary.
•    Proactive, flexible and helpful attitude.  

Might haves:
•    Good knowledge in Project management Methodologies such as Waterfall and /or Agile
•    Candidates with background in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets 
•    SQL competency: Applicants should be comfortable with database management systems for importing and exporting data from Excel. Data analysis: Applicants should be able to design robust statistical analyses and execute them using VBA.
•    Certification in Project/Programme Management.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s in engineering/computes science/information technology or any relevant degree.
