Why we need this role:

The SuccessFactors Solution Lead will provide technical leadership to the HRIS team:

  • Setting strategic direction for Colt’s SuccessFactors platform to maximise it’s value to the Business – working in close co-ordination with the HR Shared Services Lead and ensuring alignment of implementation with overall Business goals and technology standards
  • Working with the HR Shared Services Lead to optimise Business delivery processes and then driving automation and innovation within the technology to support implementation that minimizes manual activity.
  • Partner with business analysts, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure the proposed technical solutions meet business objectives and optimising the resultant multi-module SuccessFactors implementation in conjunction with the module SMEs
  • Responsible for multi-module designs and driving complex implementations via the in-house team and external resource providers, with an associated optimal instance strategy to support planned developments.
  • Setting and governing leading practice technical standards for the HRIS team.
  • This role requires significant expertise in implementing, managing, and optimizing all SAP SF modules to meet organizational goals. The incumbent will collaborate with the internal HRIS team as well as implementation partners, ensure seamless integration with downstream systems, help optimize manage budgets, and oversee change management initiatives while fostering data compliance and process efficiency in both HRIS and HR.

Implementation Expertise:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical strategy, business requirements, seamless system configuration, and integration.
  • Ensure an optimal instance strategy is in place to support project delivery, considering migration of changes, project scheduling and SAP mandatory product releases
  • Lead assessment of the impacts / benefits of SAP mandatory product releases
  • Provide Effort / Cost Assessments  for HRIS operations, implementation, and enhancements to support Business Case decisions.Provide hands-on expertise in deploying and upgrading modules to maximize their effectiveness.

Process Optimization and Governance:

  • Continuously assess HR processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements using SAP SF functionalities.
  • Partner with HR functions and Shared Services to streamline workflows and enhance user experience.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure efficient delivery, data quality, security, and compliance with global regulations.

System Integration and Management:

  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP SF with all downstream systems and external platforms.
  • Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks using SAP SF analytics tools to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Align with Colt’s GDPR and Security policies and strong engagement with those teams

Vendor Management:

Manage  SAP SF implementation partners and vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality delivery.

Technical Leadership:

Aware of the latest technology and HR leading practice and able to assess the implication for Colt
Help develop a high-performing global HRIS team with optimized multi-module implementations and efficient and effective delivery processes
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation to drive continuous improvement in HR technology.

What we're Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in HRIS roles, including significant SAP SuccessFactors implementation experience.
  • Proven track record in leading global HRIS projects in complex organizational structures.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in configuring, implementing, and managing the full suite of SAP SuccessFactors modules.
  • Strong knowledge of integrations with downstream systems and tools.
  • Advanced understanding of HR compliance regulations, including GDPR.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
  • Drive and prioritise multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills to work with diverse global teams.
