Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical leadership and expertise within the software engineering team.
• Designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications and systems.
• Collaborating with architects and senior engineers to design the technical architecture of software systems.
• Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to software development in the industry.
• Analysing and optimising the performance of software systems and optimising resource utilisation.
• Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
• Investigating and resolving complex technical issues and challenges that arise during software development or in production environments.
• Actively participating in cross-functional collaboration to understand requirements and provide technical input.
