Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced security professional who can help us develop security assessment and evaluation plans for existing or new solutions within Colt and to lead and deliver cyber risk assessments.

Based on security best practices, this individual will be expected to provide guidance and hands-on experience to teams in design, development, and maintenance of security solutions.

In addition to the above, the new joiner will ideally have a background in Application Security specifically, with an understanding on how to deliver and implement SAST/DAST solutions and general experience in the DevSecOps area.

Key Accountabilities

As a Application Security Consultant within in the Colt Security & Resilience team, you will be responsible for documenting and maintaining our security architecture and consultancy processes and help build new security standards for application security, DevSecOps, cloud, network, platforms and applications. Additionally you will consult and carry out security assessments against Cloud SaaS and IT on-prem environment hosted projects

You will have close interaction with the other technology groups in Colt (Development teams, IT, Network, Voice, and Data Centre Services) in developing and implementing new security capabilities & solutions for Colt and it’s customers, but also designing the security elements of IT solution architectures.

  • Previous experience in several security domains (such as Security Assessment, Identity and Access Management, Network Security, Security Governance etc)
  • Delivering and implementation experience in DevSecOps processes
  • Strong understanding of Application Security concepts
  • Understanding of Cloud frameworks such as SaaS/PaaS/IaaS
  • Knowledge at high level in following areas Network (IP Subnetting, Routing, ACLs), system / application security (Authentication, RBAC, IAM processes) and data security.
  • Experience of managing Microsoft PowerBI and dashboard design would be advantageous
  • Experience in Security Awareness training and Hackathons
  • Experience Technology watching and translate research into actionable data (research memos, strategy papers, etc.)
  • Previous experience working with other Business Units on strategic initiatives and supporting key transformational or wide-scale projects
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills
  • Candidates with CSSLP Certification would be preferred
