As our Senior IFRS Technical Accounting Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the financial health of Colt Technology Services. You’ll be at the forefront of our financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across our global operations.

Job Description

What you will do

  • Leading IFRS Expertise: Be the go-to person for technical IFRS accounting, providing essential guidance and support across the business.
  • Managing Financial Policies: Oversee Group Finance Policies, including Accounting Policies, Controls and Governance Framework, and Colt’s Authorities Matrix.
  • Delivering Key Reports: Take charge of the Group’s IFRS Consolidated Annual Report and Head Office subsidiary accounts under Local GAAP.
  • Driving the Audit Process: Lead our Group audit process with Big 4 auditors to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Month-End & Quarter-End Reporting: Manage and deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including those required by Fidelity.
  • Ensuring Process Efficiency: Own the consolidation process, and ensure all accounting procedures are effective and up to standard.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze country, divisional, and Group results to provide actionable insights.
  • Supporting Global Teams: Assist finance teams across countries and shared service centers, working closely with Group Tax in a multi-national setting.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted Accounting Business Partner to various functional units, supporting strategic decisions and Colt’s growth initiatives.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

 

What we are looking for

  • Big-4 Experience: Ideally, you’ve held a senior manager role in Practice or Industry.
  • IFRS Expertise: Strong technical IFRS knowledge and extensive financial reporting experience.
  • M&A and Transformation: Experience with mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or systems transformation is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, manage, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance or a relevant field is required.
