                 Any Japan DC sites can be aligned to the policy for any DC operation and construction. And understanding the contract between COLT and the customer, COLT and the vendors. These person will evaluate the policy and lead improvement activities with Ops team.

           

Hiring criteria document to be shared with all members of the interview panel. We expect that three 1 hour interviews are enough to make a hiring decision.

 

  1. The Site Manager in Iniza4 must have good experience and knowledge of people management.
  • Managing right behavior for people
  • Leading the team
  • Communication skill

 

  1. The Site Manager in Inzai4 must have experience and knowledge of M&E technical things/
  • Having experience of construction vendor management
  • Making procedure and risk assessment for implementation works by vendors
  • Any DC facility management skill with the vendors and colleagues
  • Risk assessment skill for business and services,
  • Understanding M&O method and risks.

 

  1. The Site Manager in Inzai4 must communicate with other department. .
  • Understanding company’s value and strategy, and collaborating with other groups
  • Understanding the business and service, not only technical in DC site.

 

  1. Pre-sales and customer’s relationship support experience
  • Have the experience or motivation to provide technical support to fulfil customer requests

 

MISSION

Site Manager needs to manage the people in the site. He must have a good M&E technical skills, knowledge and experience so that DC Operation team keeps good quality of maintenance, services and operation in the site . He must lead to align H&S and governance, compliance, engagement in the site.  He needs to respect and collaborate with other department and vendors, central team, communicate to other site managers to share the information and lesson and learn..  

 

OUTCOMES

  • DC Operation engineer(Facility, Security, Implementation) people management, new site team building
  • Supervisor and Manager at everything in the DC site.(M&O, construction, life cycle, etc..)
  • Making development plan, educating and train up to his colleagues.
  • Management of all operation in that site (Maintenance and Operation, Implementation, Security, H&S, customer reporting, Remote hands, etc..).

  • Management of each contract with each vendor.
  • Assessment of BM Contractor Performance and Activities
  • Overall project management of data center establishment; architecture, construction, workflow planning, supervision on the project progress
  • Cost, Budget, mid-budget control and overall vendor management
  • Involve in new build design team and point out from operation point of view.
  • Event, Incident, Change and Problem management and evaluate ops performance
  • Management of Security System & Operation Incident

THE TEAM

Site Manager manage everything happened in the site including the site staff or engineers, customers, vendors.. He will take relationship with site engineers, implementation manager, customer, security manager, FM/BM outsource vendor, general contractor, COLT major build team, UK and India central teams. 

His team will provide high quality of DC services and maintenance. Implementation. He will contribute to sales support, upsell.

Desirable

             Working experience or having knowledge of Data Center Operation, telecom and construction industry

             Degree educated, or working towards a degree, or equivalent higher qualification

Experience working on-site in the electrical equipment construction industry or infrastructure industry
