This role reports to the Senior Lawyer and is to assist with a number and variety of Real Estate centric legal work, in particular, wayleaves.
Key accountabilities
Supports Colt's legal team in all aspects of delivering effective legal support
Mainly focused on European based legal matters, with a minority contingent of Indian legal matters
Provides hands-on commercial and legal support and advice
Drafts, reviews and negotiates a variety of contracts
Provides contract-management
Assesses disputes and evaluates Colt's legal position
Contributes to the updating of a suite of standard templates
Provides ad-hoc legal support and advice on a range of matters as required
Delivers services in accordance with the relevant internal Operating Level Agreements

Acts as subject-matter expert in commercial legal matters across the organisation
Engages effectively with internal clients and provides support on legal matters as required
Provides sound commercial legal advice on a range of matters, including
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and legal agreements, including wayleave agreements, telecoms carrier agreements, duct use/lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements, procurement agreements;
Disputes with customers, suppliers and other parties
Contract Summaries, Press Releases etc.,
Provides contract management for on going contractual relationships
Supports the legal team in updating and maintaining of frameworks and standards, including standard customer documentation
Manages workload and prioritizes effectively
Sets clear and achievable expectations with internal customers
