Key accountabilities
Core Tasks
 
 
To process transactions and invoices accurately and efficiently  using appropriate IT packages and in adherence to Operating Instructions and Quality Procedures;
Process employee expense reports, including verification of receipts and coding.
To understand and use the relevant financial systems and procedures within a process
Able to solve complex problems and makes recommendations for improvements;
Undertake reconciliations and other general accounting tasks as required;
To meet or exceed individual productivity targets;

To deal with internal and external customer queries effectively and to the required COLT standard.

Role specific requirements

Skills & Experience

Mandatory

  • 2-3 Years of work Experience in financial processes
  • Understanding of SAP / AP Processes

 

 

Person specification

 

  • Keyboard skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (English); and
  • Appropriate accountancy training or experience in a financial environment.
  • Pro-active self starter who can work effectively, both within a team, and in isolation;
  • Excellent attention to detail, diligence and accuracy;
  • Effective and efficient completion of assigned tasks within allocated timeframes;
  • Strong Customer Service skills;
  • Confident communicator, able to promote ideas and assimilate information quickly;
  • Self motivation; and
  • Able to organise time and prioritise effectively

Qualifications

  • Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Desirable : MBA finance
