What you'll do

Deliver passive fiber‑optic infrastructure for network expansions and customer projects.
Plan, organize, and oversee multiple passive networks to ensure smooth operations.
Manage construction activities across backbone and wide‑area network projects.
Coordinate with cities, communities, customers, suppliers, and all project stakeholders, balancing cost efficiency with customer needs.
Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure accurate and effective delivery of customer solutions.
Create detailed project documentation, including written records and photo evidence of site conditions and build progress.
Perform quality checks on subcontractor work and verify their bill of quantities.
Troubleshoot issues in passive fiber‑optic networks, including customer locations.
Handle rights‑of‑way processes in line with the Telecommunications Act.
Carry out essential administrative tasks that keep projects running smoothly.

What we’re looking for

Lead Security Architect (London, GB)

Why we need this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Security Architect to join our Global Design & Engineering team. This role is critical to ensuring the design of Building Automation Systems and compliance of our hyperscale data centre projects across multiple regions.

You will report to the Head of Architecture, part of the Global Design & Engineering team in Colt DCS.

You will drive standardised design, availability & consistency across our growing portfolio of Data Centres, providing guidance globally to internal & external stakeholders ensuring adherence to the Colt DCS Global Reference Design (GRD).

You will ensure that Global Reference Design standards are kept up to date considering DCS security policies new legislation, technologies, efficiency & best available techniques which improve speed to market, whilst providing cost certainty.

What you will do

The Lead Security Architect will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and evolving global physical security standards for our hyperscale data centres as part of the Global Reference Design (GRD). This role ensures that all physical security measures - including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related technologies are designed and implemented to meet DCS standards, industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, customers, and external vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions across multiple regions.

You will support as required other departments to review and accept proposed changes to site-specific infrastructure which deviates against our design standards when appropriate.

What we're looking for

Define and update global physical security standards within the GRD framework, applying ‘secure by design’ principles.
Ensure alignment with DCS security policies, compliance requirements, industry benchmarks and emerging technologies.
Lead the integration of physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection and perimeter security).
Work closely with the wider Architectural team to ensure security zoning is implemented.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance security posture.
Assess and interpret customer specific security requirements during pre-sales and design phases.
Provide technical expertise to sales teams for RFP’s and customer presentations.
Collaborate with Regional Engineering teams to ensure consistent implementation of global standards.
Evaluate and qualify security technology vendors and integrators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as, CSA & MEP engineers, IT, security & resilience, and sustainability leads.

Skills required:

Extensive knowledge & experience of Security design, deployment, and commissioning of Data Centres or similar critical environments.
Experience in interfacing with both internal and external project stakeholders such as (but not limited to) customers, project managers, design consultants, commissioning agents, cost consultants, equipment suppliers and general contractors.
Proven experience in developing and implementing design standards across multiple regions or large-scale portfolios.
Deep understanding of Security Systems and their integration into the BAS network
Familiarity with cybersecurity and physical security principles in BAS design.
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation such as Electricity at Work Act and CDM regulations.
Proven experience in preparing and submitting technical documentation including scope of services, technical requirements, standards, design guides etc.

What you will do

The Data Centre Security Operations Specialist is a specialist role within the Operations Compliance Team, acting as the physical security subject matter expert (SME) in support of operational compliance activities across the data centre estate.

The role provides security expertise, assurance, and practical guidance to support the work of a team of operations Compliance and Quality Assurance Managers. It also provides specialist advice and guidance to Data Centre Managers and site teams on the application and day‑to‑day use of physical and electronic security controls, including manned guarding and security systems.

This role focuses on how security controls are applied, operated, and complied with in practice, rather than on the technical design, specification, or engineering of security systems. The post holder supports sites in understanding what they need to do to meet security requirements and how to do so consistently and compliantly.

What we're looking for

Key Accountabilities

Serve as the physical and operational security subject matter expert for the Operations Compliance Team, offering expertise for compliance reviews and assurance activities.
Advise on the practical application of physical and electronic security requirements in operational environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Engineer who will act as a technical subject matter expert within the Linux Engineering team. The role is accountable for designing, implementing, supporting, and optimising the Linux infrastructure that underpins critical business applications.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team supporting approximately 4000 Linux systems, contributing to technology roadmaps, automation initiatives, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architecture, security, and operations teams across the organisation.

Serve as a senior technical expert for Linux systems, providing advanced engineering support and guidance.
Contribute to the definition and implementation of technology roadmaps for Linux infrastructure and associated services.

Why we need this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Team Manager who will serve as both a technical subject matter expert and a strong leader. This role is responsible for defining and implementing technology roadmaps, operating procedures, and automation strategies to ensure our Linux environment is secure, efficient, and compliant.

The successful candidate will manage a team of ~10 Linux SMEs and managed service resources located in India and the UK, responsible for supporting approximately 4000 Linux systems that underpin critical business applications. What we're looking for

Not directly responsible for these platforms, but experience is highly beneficial due to cross-team collaboration.

Our service management team act as a link between our customers and us, agreeing with the customer how their relationship with Colt will work and setting the right expectations in terms of service and customers’ business performance. The global service administrator is responsible for providing an efficient and effective transactional and operational HR Service across all aspects of the employee life-cycle. They serve as a main point of contact for both internal and external HR customers regarding employee related queries providing a high level of customer service in a timely manner.

What you will do

Responsible for operational and transactional HR administration tasks as part of the end-end employee life cycle including: drafting contracts of employment, the completion and filing of new hire paperwork, on-boarding responsibilities, health and safety and medical checks, drafting appropriate contractual documentation relating to internal changes/promotion, processing leavers and posting off-boarding paperwork.
Serve as a primary contact and respond to a broad range of general employee related queries that are raised via the AskHR ticketing system but which also come into the HR Shared mailbox ensuring timely and accurate responses are provided. Refer more complex issues to Team Leaders by way of escalations.
Act as the first responder for urgent or unplanned HR issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both electronically and in paper format and in compliance with local labour law requirements.

Ensure the processing of visa request letters for employees.

Ensure HR input tool is updated with accurate information for payroll processing every month and participate in monthly payroll review meetings with the wider HRSS team and payroll team.
Partner with other internal teams where necessary regarding employee queries including Benefits, Payroll, HRBPs, HRIS and referring more complex issues to senior colleagues.
Interact closely with the EMEA HR Manager to undertake specific projects and other ad-hoc tasks to support where necessary. Also interact with hiring managers, recruiters, talent management, rewards and other internal stakeholders where needed.
For PL specific vendors ensure setting up of new suppliers in Ariba, raising purchase orders, ensuring invoices are ‘goods receipted’ against purchase orders and ensuring invoices are processed by Accounts Payable within the agreed payment terms.

We are seeking an experienced technical leader to oversee Enterprise Infrastructure Services, acting as both a manager and a hands-on contributor. This role is responsible for managing Windows Server, VDI, Citrix, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments (Azure and GCP).

What you will do

Reporting to the System Manager, a IT Application Specialist is responsible for the provision of technical support, design and deployment for a number of business critical applications.

You will provide a combination of 2nd and 3rd line support and be the technical subject matter expertise for a portfolio of business systems.
In the event of application issues, you will work with Incident Management Teams to restore service quickly and efficiently and, where required, Problem and Change Management Teams to complete any follow up actions.

Business Intelligence & Analytics Enablement

Partner with BI developers and analysts to design semantic models, datasets, and reporting structures.

Promote self‑service analytics through robust data models, documentation, and governance.

Governance, Quality & Security

Implement data quality frameworks, validation rules, and monitoring processes.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Proven experience as a Data Architect, Senior Data Engineer, or similar role in an enterprise environment.
Strong expertise in data integration technologies (ETL/ELT tools, APIs, iPaaS, event‑driven architectures).
Hands‑on experience with data warehousing platforms with strong understanding of relational and dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, and semantic layers.
Experience working with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
Ability to translate complex data concepts into business‑friendly language.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

The Data Engineer will be a key contributor to building, optimising, and maintaining Colt DCS’s modern data environment. Working within the Data Integrations & BI team, you will design and support data pipelines, integrations, Azure data structures, and Power BI‑ready datasets across our Microsoft-centric ecosystem.

This role ensures the organisation has high‑quality, reliable, and well‑structured data for analytics, reporting, and operational decision‑making. You will be responsible for the technical development of integration workflows, ETL/ELT processes, Azure data structures, and supporting Power BI data models used across the organisation.

Job Summary

We are looking for a German qualified candidate to provide legal support to Colt DCS business focusing on the construction, development and operation of Data Centre projects in Germany (Frankfurt, Berlin and more) with a good understanding of commercial real estate acquisition and related commercial transactions such as building contracts, consultancy agreements, as well as interconnected agreements including commercial T&C for supplier agreements, relevant aspects of sales agreements. English business language fluency is essential.

The candidate will be part of a wider DCS legal team and regulatory experts based in Frankfurt. Candidates would be expected to work closely with the wider DCS legal team (headquartered in London) and local colleagues and to support Colt DCS Germany colleagues in the Development and Delivery Teams in each case building strong working relationships to ensure success. The role will also include liaising with customers, third party vendors and external counsel as well as with Funders based in the US and will report to the Senior Legal Counsel for Germany. The successful candidate will be ambitious, motivated and able to undertake significant responsibility.

Candidates should have strong experience in the property development sector with some experience of commercial real estate and commercial transactions desirable.

What you will do

A key part of DCS’ Security & Resilience team, the incumbent will lead the strategic delivery and governance of physical and personnel security across the organisation. HR analyst - German speaking (Sibiu, RO)

Why we need this role

As a part of the HR initiative, the Global HR Services was rolled out with the intent to act as a single point of contact for all HR related queries / issues / requests and provide a standard service, equal quality and consistent employee experience across Colt.

Provides operational support to HR teams and employees across all Colt countries.

Respond to first line employee and manager queries on HR processes (e.g. relating to absence, performance management and other life cycle events). 

What you will do

Own and deliver a range of HR processes within Global HR Services, managing employee lifecycle queries received via email, phone, and online channels through to full resolution.
Coordinate onboarding activities and manage employment changes.
Enter and validate employee data in the HR system, ensuring high data quality through regular checks.
Resolve HR system–related queries and requests, tracking each case until closure.
Support the creation of employment documents such as invitation letters and employment certificates.
Maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables and consistently meet process and service SLAs.
Draft, publish, and communicate clear documentation on HR policies and process definitions.
Keep HR content on the company intranet up to date to ensure employees have access to accurate information.
Collaborate closely with the HR community to tailor solutions, tools, and support.
Serve as a functional reference for HR systems: understand system capabilities, manage dependencies, support releases/updates/testing, and provide user training.
Act as a subject matter expert on HR processes, systems, and policies, advising HR colleagues and the wider business.
Develop data layouts, including tables, charts, graphs, and process flow diagrams, and produce reports aligned with business needs.
Support payroll, background verification, and audit activities by providing required data and explanations.
Manage the end-to-end background screening process and ensure adherence to established procedures.
Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of HR processes, collaborating with HR teams (especially HRIS) to enhance the employee experience.
Support the HR community on major recurring and ad‑hoc HR projects, including pay review, performance review, system updates, and reorganization initiatives.

What we’re looking for

Proven customer support experience in a global environment, ideally within HR.
Previous experience in an HR role.
Strong sense of confidentiality, responsibility, and professional integrity.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comfortable collaborating with diverse, international stakeholders.
Solid understanding of HR processes and the broader HR field.
(Desired) Experience with HR systems such as SuccessFactors.
Strong IT and technology affinity, with interest in using digital tools to enhance business value.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and confident adopting new systems and tools.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Team-oriented, service‑minded, and detail‑focused.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
MS Office proficiency, especially Excel at medium/advanced level.
Fluency in English and German.
