Reports to:

Group Manager of DCS Operations - DC Onsite Support and Delivery Management


Colt Shiohama DC / Inzai DC / West Tokyo DC, Japan.


Role purpose

  • Support for all DC customers as contracted services for 24 hours 7days.
  • Operate timely, flexibly, and carefully to generate customer satisfaction.
  • To cover overall cabling task in Japan Colt DCs and support Partner DCs as well.


Key accountabilities

  • Be able to work as 24*7 days shift staff. (Night Time and Week Day/End)
  • Excellent manners and communication skills as customer (direct) front.


Other accountabilities (optional)

  • Technical skills and experience as field engineer.
  • Equipment Installation (Rack mounting), Uninstallation (Rack un-mounting).
  • NIC configuration. (Parts/module replacement. HDD, SFP.)
  • Cabling, Patching.
  • Ability to understand Colt Data Center rules.

Role specific requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Cabling, Patching skills. (Knowledge of Metal/Optical cables)
  • Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel with Function, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)


  • Japanese Language Level : Business or native.
  • English Language Level : Business or more. (TOEIC 400 – 600).


 Based on DCS Behavioural Model and Tool




  • Communication skill.
